I never set out to start a business. I just liked making things.
It began quietly. I made a little animal one evening, and then someone asked if I’d make them one too, and then someone else did. Somewhere along the way it stopped being just a hobby and turned into this.
I live in Dorchester, in Dorset, and I make everything here at home. I’m not trying to make hundreds of anything. I make them one at a time because that’s the only way I know how, and honestly because I like it that way. There’s something about sitting down with a hook and a ball of yarn and slowly watching a little character appear.
Animals were where I started, and they’re still my favourite to make. I’m slowly adding new ideas as I go, but I’ll always make the things I genuinely enjoy making. I think you can tell, when something’s been made by someone who cares.
If you take one of my little ones home, thank you. It honestly means a lot.
Lily
